Erin spent a morning with us a few days after we returned home from the hospital. We had questions accumulate quickly after getting home, and it was wonderful to know that there was a time and place to have them answered by someone so compassionate, patient, and knowledgeable. Being a new parent can at times be a bewildering and overwhelming experience, and Erin is a supportive and wise sage to help you navigate and develop confidence and grace. Erin also helped us give our first bath and set up our baby carriers correctly. We started taking notes, but she told us not to worry -- she would follow up with an email. Later that day, we received an incredibly detailed letter covering everything we discussed, plus relevant resources for further learning. This was so welcome for our sleep-deprived brains! Erin's support really helped us get off on the right foot as parents.

My husband and I are first time parents and found ourselves desperate for help in the first few weeks home with our newborn. He wasn't sleeping much more than an hour at a time and we were really struggling. We reached out to Erin and to our delight, she responded very quickly and was able to come the next day. Erin came and listened to us, our routine and concerns and gave us a general recommendations for new parents as well as a detailed email of suggestions, tips and tricks specific to our family and baby boy. She helped me with breastfeeding and so much more. Erin's warmth, kindness and support was so nice to have, especially coming into our home and helping two sleep deprived and stressed parents. It truly takes a village and I cannot recommend Erin enough if you find your family needing support at any time during the beautiful and challenging process of bringing a little one into the world! Thank you, Erin!

Erin is amazing. She became part of our family during her time with us, and we are so thankful we connected with her for our journey into parenthood. She is knowledgeable, practical, thoughtful and a genuinely kind human. We learned so much from Erin each time she came into our home and it never felt clinical or scripted. Erin truly got to know us and helped us identify needs when we were too overwhelmed to know what to ask for. She supported me with postpartum healing and breastfeeding, helped us learn how to care for our new little one, shared her baby-sleep wisdom, helped us navigate our back to work planning and offered an unbiased and unconditional support when we needed it the most. We all had many talks together about what it means to have a village around you, and Erin truly embodies this through her kindness and service to the families she works with. If you’re looking for someone to see you for who you are and truly care for you and your family, look no further. Erin is the real deal!

“Erin was such a breath of fresh air to have. When you have a baby, especially your first, you just have no idea what to expect. Her being a trained labor and delivery nurse and lactation consultant was an amazing asset. She could analyze the latch and help me reposition. You can tell Erin is passionate about helping women bring life into the world and helping after. She is so comforting when you are at your most vulnerable. She was such a big help and I was very grateful to have her there.”

“Erin was with me during my labor and delivery of my firstborn (and after). It was a long 30 hour labor that culminated in a c-section. Erin amazed me with her natural intuitiveness in this field. She was strong and supportive and everything I needed during the hardest parts before, during, and after. If you are going through pregnancy, delivery, or a postpartum transition you want Erin on your team!”

"Having Erin with us after the birth of our first child was an absolute blessing. Her kind way of educating and supporting me as I navigated breastfeeding, hormonal changes, (and everything else!), meant so much to my husband and I. She helped me to build confidence in my own skills as I transitioned into motherhood. I am truly grateful for all the postpartum care she offered to our family during those early days at home."

"Erin was an absolutely integral part of our journey to becoming new parents. I had read all the right books, and had spent a great deal of time thinking about and planning for our postpartum. I had a wonderful birth, my baby and I were healthy, and we were very well-supported by care providers, family and friends. However, I could not have anticipated what the transition to motherhood would actually feel like for me. Erin came and sat calmly with us in our strange, upside-down world and made us feel safe and cared for. She supported my husband and me as we rode the waves of becoming a family of 3, helping us learn to navigate all the bids for our time and attention, gently encouraging us as we figured out how to adjust for our newly diminished internal resources. She guided me through the rugged terrain of learning to breastfeed, and gave my husband a valuable bag of tools for how to soothe our baby and help her sleep. She offered me perspective when everything felt totally overwhelming, reminding me that I didn’t have to try to hold it all myself. She held the space for me to flail around in this new space, trying to find where everything fit. I can clearly recall one moment from that first week when my midwife was sitting with us during a postpartum visit, watching and hearing about how Erin had been helping us. She was clearly impressed, making note of how glad she was that we had such fantastic support and she exclaimed, “Everyone needs an Erin!!” We couldn’t agree more."

"I highly, highly recommend working with Erin! She has tremendous expertise and experience through both her formal training as well as her own experience as a mom. Erin helped us through the challenges of low milk supply, a double frenectomy, and a variety of fall/winter viruses (including a scary bout of RSV in our newborn). The low milk supply issue was probably our biggest challenge - but it also happens to be an area where Erin excels. Even a few weeks after giving birth, I was only producing drops at each feed. I thought my milk would never come in, but Erin had faith. She worked with me to try 3 or 4 different supplemental nursing systems (2 of which I used routinely) and weighed the baby several times to determine our progress. Eventually, after over 2 months, my milk finally came in! Had I not had Erin's help and constant support, though, I'm not sure I would have persevered. Additionally, Erin is exceptionally kind and understanding of the physical and emotional challenges of being newly postpartum. She is also highly responsive and has a rich library of helpful documents and contact lists on everything from sleep tips to local physical therapists. In short, I can't say enough good things about Erin. Hire her!"

As a first time mom I cannot emphasize enough the tremendous amount of support that was needed in the first few weeks / months after bringing my little one home. We retained Erin for postpartum doula services, and she was a tremendous help. From being a trusted guide with my never ending questions with breastfeeding, sleeping, health (both mine & the babies), to allowing my husband and me to sleep (HUGE HELP). Cannot recommend her enough!
